The story

Daughter of Leda and sister of Helen, married to Agamemnon. While he was at Troy she ruled Mycenae, never forgiving him for sacrificing their daughter Iphigenia, and took his cousin Aegisthus as her lover.

How it ends

She welcomed Agamemnon home over purple cloth, then killed him in his bath with Cassandra. Years later her son Orestes returned and killed her.
